25.04.2025 : UNITY Workshop

Introduction and Goal of Event
The Unity3D Workshop 2025 was organized to introduce students and aspiring developers to the powerful capabilities of Unity3D—a leading real-time development platform used across industries such as gaming, architecture, automotive, and film. The primary goal was to provide hands-on experience in creating interactive 2D/3D applications and simple games, using Unity's intuitive interface and C# scripting.This initiative reflects the Academic Club's ongoing commitment to  fostering practical skills and encouraging exploration of emerging technologies by hosting expert-led learning sessions.

Details of Attendees 
The workshop was held in person on April 25th, 2025, Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg G22. It was conducted by our knowledgeable and enthusiastic experts, Sai Teja and Prakash Pandi, who guided participants through the session with clear explanations and interactive demonstrations.

The participants actively engaged in exercises that covered Unity's core components, game object management, scripting, player input, physics, and the process of building a basic playable project. Laptops and development tools were set up in advance, ensuring a smooth and productive experience.

Feedback and Conclusion 
The session was well-received, with attendees expressing appreciation for the clear instruction, hands-on practice, and valuable take-home materials including code templates and learning resources. Participants left the workshop with a stronger understanding of Unity fundamentals and a desire to explore further.
