The Largest Potluck Summer Party on Campus

Who?

Everybody who works, studies or "lives" at the FIN (and their families)

When?

Wednesday, June 10, 2026, starting at 3 p.m.

Where?

Under the birch tree in front of G29

What can I expect

1. At a potluck, everyone brings a homemade dish (and entertainment is also welcome) and shares it with everyone else. To avoid ending up with 20 cucumber salads, we have created lists for food, entertainment, and help (see below).
2. To help protect the environment, it would be great if everyone brought their own dishes and, if possible, a picnic blanket to lounge on the FIN lawn.
3. In addition to the potluck, we’ll have some drinks (a keg of beer and a keg of soda) and grilled food (vegan and non-vegan) available while supplies last. Every dish you bring complements the party and adds to the variety.
4. There will be a few games and activities for children and those who are young at heart.
5. "Kai, der kleine Elbehai" / "Kai, the little Elbe shark", will also be offering his Magdeburg coloring books - for anyone who wants to explore Magdeburg.
6. If, contrary to expectations, the weather turns bad, we will move to our lecture hall in 307.
